Highly recommend these guys. I fished 2 days with Bernardo. He’s an excellent guide—very patient, knows the area, and can put you on fish. Lots of tarpon and even some permit shots in early March. Great variety of mangroves and flats fishing in the area. Will be back!

My son and I fished with Bernardo at Cancun Fishing Outfitters in March 2024. These guys are the real deal. It was our first trip fly-fishing and spin-casting for tarpon, and we each landed one and hooked and saw many more all day. Bernardo was a great communicator before and during the trip and made the logistics easy from our hotel. I’d highly recommend anyone staying in Cancun take a trip to see the beautiful waters around Isla Blanca and have a chance to catch the fish of a lifetime.

Excellent fly-fishing tour. We hooked 7 tarpon and landed 1 good one. We were fishing with Bernardo! Great transportation, boat, cooler, ice, and snacks!
Had a fantastic time fishing Isla Blanca with Bernardo from Cancun Fishing Outfitters! He is very friendly, patient, easygoing, and extremely knowledgeable about his fishery. He guided me to several shots at juvenile tarpon—jumping many and landing a couple—as well as some snook and barracuda. He even picked me up from my resort. Couldn’t recommend him enough! Fishing with him is now an annual occurrence for me and something I look forward to every January.
